We’re proud to be partnering with Peter Kittle Motor Company on this search. A family-owned, award-winning dealership group with 10 sites across South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, Peter Kittle has spent close to four decades making good on one simple promise: Car Buying Made Easy.

This is a family-owned business that grew from a single dealership in Alice Springs in 1988 into a multi-state, multi-brand group with serious commercial weight behind it. Eleven award-winning dealerships, partnerships with Toyota Australia, and a leadership team that backs marketing as a commercial driver rather than a cost centre.

This is the senior marketing seat for the entire Peter Kittle group. You’ll own the strategy that drives showroom traffic, brand consistency and commercial performance across eleven award-winning Toyota dealerships, while keeping everything tightly aligned to Toyota Australia’s national standards and OEM requirements.

This is not a sit back and strategise role. You’ll develop and translate the national strategy into tactical, locally-relevant execution. You’ll build the group-wide standards that ensure dealerships stay aligned to the master brand. You’ll plan and deliver high-profile vehicle launches, premium customer events, drive days and integrated retail campaigns online and in-dealership. And you’ll manage the budgets, the team and the agency partners who help you make it all happen.

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

• • Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Set and deliver the annual marketing strategy across all eleven dealerships, build the group-wide brand standards and tools that keep execution consistent, manage budget for ROI and lead the marketing team as the senior marketing partner to the Directors.
  • Go to Market Strategy and Campaign Delivery: Build and deliver omnichannel go-to-market plans for vehicle launches and retail campaigns across online and in-dealership, making it simple for every dealer to execute locally and win in their market.
  • Brand Management & Experience: Hold the brand line across every channel and dealership in full alignment with Toyota Australia, while running premium customer events, sponsorships and partnerships that deliver measurable value for the group.
  • Digital Activity & Paid Media: Own the group’s digital strategy and paid media execution across Meta, Google and beyond.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the marketing conduit between Directors, Dealer Principals, Toyota Australia and external agencies to deliver consistently high-quality work across the group.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Showroom traffic and local sales volume are growing across the group. Marketing ROI is sharp and the budget is showing great reach and return. Brand consistency is holding across every dealership and every channel, with Toyota Australia happy with what they’re seeing in brand audits and OEM feedback.

Campaigns, launches and events are landing on time, on standard and commercially compliant. Digital and social are growing in reach, engagement and conversion. Vehicle launches and customer events are hitting their attendance, lead and conversion targets. Your team is stable, capable and developing.

You’re a senior marketer who has done this before. You’ve sat at the intersection of strategy and execution, comfortable shaping a plan one day and approving creative the next. You’ve ideally worked with senior leadership, OEM stakeholders or franchise marketing frameworks. You’re commercially sharp, data-led and unafraid to make a call.

You bring strong digital skills across paid media, social and CRM, but you are equally skilled in managing brand(s). You’ve led people, managed agencies and balanced multiple priorities without losing the plot. Multi-site, multi-brand or automotive industry experience is a real advantage but not essential, as is a genuine interest in premium and lifestyle brands.

You’ll need Australian work rights, a current driver’s licence and the flexibility to travel regularly between dealerships across SA, VIC and NSW, plus the occasional out-of-hours commitment for events, launches and activations.
