We’re partnering with a fast-growing, Australian-made self-tan and skincare brand, a genuinely beloved name with a loyal following across e-commerce and major retail shelves both here and overseas.

This is a genuine leadership role, one where you’ll be trusted with real ownership from day one. You’ll take charge of the marketing budget, ROI and performance outcomes across every channel, working closely with the founders as part of the leadership team to help guide the business forward together.

Key responsibilities

• Revenue & Commercial Accountability: Lead total revenue contribution across e-commerce and retail, with close oversight of the marketing budget, ROI, MER and channel profitability. You’ll help shape where spend goes and why, forecast revenue together with finance and operations, and guide the brand’s positioning, messaging and creative direction across every market it reaches, including its influencer strategy.

• Performance & E-Commerce Growth: Meta, TikTok, Google and TikTok Shop will all be part of your world, alongside affiliate strategy, conversion rate optimisation, EDM and SMS. You’ll guide paid media allocation and customer acquisition cost, and work closely with the retention team on LTV.

• NPD: Shape the commercial strategy behind every launch, from revenue targets and conversion planning through to sell-through and margin. Launch plans span both digital and retail, and you’ll be there to make sure they come together thoughtfully and perform.

• Retail Marketing: Own retail marketing end-to-end from launch calendars, POS and in-store assets, campaigns with major retail partners, retailer EDMs and co-op marketing, plus supporting new doors and range expansion. This is retail marketing led with real commercial thinking, not just trade support.

• Leadership: Lead and grow a team of eight, nurturing a high-performing, accountable culture that people genuinely want to be part of, with clear KPIs tied to revenue and ROI. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, operations, product and finance, and report directly to the founders and management team.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Success looks like steady, profitable growth across e-commerce and retail, with real clarity on what’s driving it. It looks like product launches that land well, acquisition that grows sustainably, and a marketing team that is engaged, motivated and high-performing.

You’ve spent 8+ years leading performance-led marketing, and you’re just as comfortable in a P&L as you are in a campaign brief. You’ve managed serious budgets, helped scale a DTC or omnichannel brand, and you understand paid media, CRO and retention well enough to move between them with ease.

Retail marketing experience with major accounts is a plus, but what matters most is that you’re thoughtful, data-driven and genuinely comfortable being accountable for revenue, not just activity.
